1. How to Ask Politely
Don't just say "Where is the station?" Start with a polite phrase.
Polite Openers:
- "Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to...?"
- "Sorry to bother you, but I'm looking for..."
- "Is this the right way to the museum?"
- "Do you know where the nearest subway station is?"
2. Understanding the Answer
People might speak fast. Listen for these keywords.
- "Go straight on" / "Go straight ahead": Keep walking in this direction.
- "Turn left/right": Change direction.
- "Take the second left": Ignore the first road on the left, take the next one.
- "It's on the corner": Where two streets meet.
- "Cross the street": Go to the other side.
3. Public Transport
Taking a bus or train?
- "Does this bus go to the city center?"
- "How many stops is it to [Place]?"

- "Please let me know when we get there."
4. If You Don't Understand
